Kikki Danielsson has long been one of our most popular artists whose music has constantly reached new listeners and built bridges across generations. If you say "Kikki", almost everyone between the ages of 5-95 knows who you are referring to.Since her first successes with Wizex in the early 70s, her life has almost continuously been lived in the public eye.

It is a remarkable and highly impressive life journey that the once 5-year-old little girl from Osby with an alleged "singing disorder" has offered.But even though the newspapers have subscribed to her name and the evening papers have constantly searched for gossip about her, it is the music that has ultimately been the guiding star.

In addition to winning the Eurovision Song Contest and a long list of hits on the Swedish pop charts, her unmistakable voice has given us many moments of joy. As a pioneer of country music's entry into the Swedish folk soul, her contribution cannot be overstated. Perhaps Kikki Danielsson is still the only Swedish artist to have had a career in the country music capital of Nashville, where she is still an honorary citizen and has been awarded the key to the city.

So now that it's time to sum up the career with a last big farewell tour, there are many hits, stories and memories to be dealt with before the audience. "There's something big going on" as the show is called is a manifestation of an artist's life that is unparalleled in Swedish entertainment history.
